I am also intrigued by what will be new about these rules! I always liked the idea of using Epic 40K (i.e. 3E Epic) mechanics for damage resolution (and possibly turns). Lots of the previous iterations slowly migrated across to standard 40K, so it will be interesting to see if they streamline things...

Oo, vey swish! I must admit, when I first was interested in 6 mm miniatures (not so long ago, compared to some here :P), I never thought I’d see such impressive things as the new Cybershadows! Like with what GW has done at the larger (and much more expensive…) scale, it’s cool to see 6 mm diversify ...

The new Cybershadows are very nice! Their detail really seems to come out well in metal form. Though I must say, I am sad at the disappearance of the old Cybershadows infantry, which I was rather fond of. Even if they were not quite be as ‘tech-infantry’ as the new ones, the old infantry were cool m...

Sounds a bit like most websites which use Auntie/Uncle Google… I hadn’t thought Scribd was so bad, but there you go. Is Scribd the only place that has them? (I don’t know why it’s so popular for hosting out of print wargaming stuff). If one was really desperate to use Scribd and worried about suspic...

It might not work for everyone, but I used to write small poems for my Scribd account when I was after certain documents. Is that still how Scribd runs?

I liked doing the poems because whilst it was mainly to get download access, it was something meaningful that wasn’t too onerous.

I’m sure I’m among the least experienced and wise voices here, but I do like the idea of generalising the reinforced armour save with the RA(X+) nomenclature (and stating the default is X = armour save), and I suspect Blip’s suggestion is the most achievable way to implement it. (I seem to recall so...

For whatever reason, I have a cool image in my mind of both human-sized ones (e.g. 6 mm) and bigger (maybe 10 mm?) as infantry—maybe it’s a strange mix of Engi from FTL, Stellaris robot empires, the robot from the newer Lost in Space movie, and some other murderbot image from somewhere…. Anyways, I ...

I personally would love to develop a 'race' of robots, but that would be more mecha meets scrapbot rather than space Egyptians. I really quite liked the robot infantry that you designed a little while ago (the ones that were 15 mm, originally). Maybe Scrapbot is the best name for them? (Self-assemb...

Oo, I missed this! I like it (personally I like the mask, and while the gun is large, I think it fits well in context as well as for the necessary sturdiness). It’s a nice pose for 6 mm.

Hooray for bedtime reading! A small observation on your note about river placements for the Tournament scenario: couldn’t a river run from one edge to an adjacent edge (i.e., diagonally across a corner), and thus be shorter than the short table edge? I was also going to suggest that a river could ha...

I must say, whilst other races would be ace, to me a Helian battleship would be far more interesting, so that one could build a BFG-esque fleet entirely from one coherent design and manufacturer.

Backpedaling fast! Whatever else it is, the sprues being available separately is good news. Man, what am I going to do with the big order of pitchforks and torches now? :( There’s always nocturnal gardening, I suppose! Or Beauty and the Beast productions, maybe? Those sprues are pretty excellent-lo...

I see simple bookkeeping as a major benefit of Vaaish’s PP system: one already has to keep track of DC, and DC simply becomes important for Assault attacks (which I must admit, has always seemed intuitive to me) and main titan weapons. It’s also an advantage of Mrdiealot’s Crippling Damage (if imple...

I do like that more: it seems more the size of a Star Wars gunship with two (smaller) fighter escorts, rather than just a big fighter. Is that the sort of image you were going for, @malika2? (Comparison with modern fighters and transport planes might be interesting, too, or transport helicopters wit...
