Um ninja gobblers interesting idea, gobblers special operations death squad ha. Sneaky and cunning—their smaller frame and less-violent tendencies make them ideal for infiltration! Nobody quite knows how the Gobbler Ninja Corps began, but it is certain that it functions more like a monastic order, ...

Yay, new Gobbos! After being reminded of their arrival by @malika in the Book of Faces, I was thinking back to various GW versions and it struck me that SciFi ninja Gobbos would be cool (with Orky weapons, I was thinking). Perhaps also with some kind of grotzooka/missile launcher (and maybe a specia...

So, Apocalypse has been out for a little while now: has anyone here played it yet? From the discussion on Dakka Dakka, it seems people find the rules superior to ordinary WH40K (perhaps little surprise to fans of Epic), though there seems to be a gap for games below about 1000 40K-points but above 2...

One thing to add - as they've now revealed that there are 5 factions currently "in play" in the development of the game, This Article pretty much reveals what they have to be: Occulum Mistwar - Eldar vs. Orks Liberation of Enothis - Imperium vs. Chaos Armageddon - Imperium vs. Orks ...and...

Pardon me for asking, but WHO are these ”people” you reder to? Expensive designs and manufacture seems a minute portion of the conversation here? I'm 85% confident that my response below won't be viewed as constructive, but it's late, so what the hell... My post was mainly in response to ... ...I t...

Travel Space Hulk seems an ideal way to get started with Minihammer—simple terrain and a good game! You can even use the Kill Team (2018) Arena rules with the same terrain for something different! Is magnetic sheet attractive enough for metal 6 mm miniatures? I guess this thread shows it can be for ...

I’ll have to find out some more about the new Apocalypse rules; I got the gist of it from the early promos, but not much more! I think Heresy superheavies => vehicles/walkers => Tactical Marine infantry (and maybe Terminators) is the most sensible option they have if they wanted to expand AT like th...

I really cant see what the incentive people see for GW to rescale their whole range to 6/8mm when people are happy to play massive EA-sized games (and spend massive amounts if money) using 28mm minis. Apocalypse IS the new epic. But rather than £3 a tank they can charge £40. Rather than £1 a stand ...

Oo indeed! Very shiny! And I think it was inevitable that the planes be on the same scale as the AT titans—it’d be foolish to make them close but not exact, methinks! I find it interesting that Artdeconautica Imperialis was next, too, but perhaps that surprise was the plan? BFG is a bigger project, ...

This is such an epic bit of work (pun only partially intended :P)! I came back for a gander after mentioning it to someone on Facebook who’s interested in using 6 mm miniatures for MicroHeresy.

I'd never make it equal and a blanket value across lists. Whatever it is should be some function based on the SR of the army. Basically better trained armies should require less but not a ton less. Make sense? So what about commander per N +1 formations where N is equal to list SR. SC counts as 2 C...

Always thought that Commander units on the battlefield would be a niche for keeping c&c for large armies going would be a good idea. Like over a certain number of formations on the table needing a Commander unit on the table to avoid a penalty That’s along the lines of what I’d like best. One w...

This is something I’ve thought worth addressing for a while! In an ideal world, I’d prefer a more substantial change to how command structures work in EA (as noted, it’s a bit counter-intuitive that more units always = better command structure), but this one is nice and simple! I like Option 2 for i...

This time round we have the Sentinels an elite arm of the Cybershadow Precursors, the Sentinels can be found guarding all Cybershadow installations as well as acting as bodyguards to high ranking Cybershadow VIP's....
