Sounds cool, bear in mind it probably favours armies that have a variety of viable builds in the first place (e.g marines and biel tan)

The menu links to the different sections of the website seem to have disappeared from the front page. I can only access the rules, game aids etc. pages by typing them in manually now, although the tournament pack is still available by way of the NetEA News box on the right. Is this a problem for an...

I personally don't have an issue with the power of the Tau list per se, though certainly would not describe it as top tier. And this alone makes me concerned about the variants, since they are Tau++. However more options doesn't necessarily equate to more powerful unless they add things that synergi...

Can we just decide whether to go straight to 575 for the white scar termies? I mean, will testing ever indicate that 600 is OK but 575 is not? They do lose teleport, and more importantly cannot go in a thunderhawk. One might say this 'codex but worse' effect is a pattern and so the white scars could...

I dont really understand the special cards when they refer to 'if they haven't decided any of those details'. Also the one about picking points 'for either player' - is this both players, one player, and if both, do both players use the same points value? My only other comment is I think you may str...

I think a lot could be accomplished by addressing some shortcomings of the core list. The variant lists appear to have something of an identity crisis now, viorla originally being borne of the "firewarriors should be good in FF" idea and now it is the mecha list plus addressing the limitat...

What about the number of units that must contact a WE before it loses its ZoC and you can move on to base the next unit?

I have always just played it as 'pick any war engine(s)'. I guess the rules are ambiguous enough to make it FAQ-able but measuring from the spacecraft seems tenuous from the RAW. Personally I don't see it as an issue, I've always just regarded it as a factor I need to consider with yme loc. For exam...

Right. Yeah it doesn't work :) Interestingly though, I'm pretty sure in 3rd edition Epic 40K disrupt weapons worked exactly that way, ie they could not cause damage, only place blast markers. It was kind of annoying if you brought a load of night spinners to a game against nids but otherwise worked ...
