you get hit by a WE blowing up next to you = no BM

You take a BM if a unit is destroyed from a WE crit. Or are you saying you wouldn't take the BM for being "shot at" by an exploded WE, that's definitely true.

No BMs for failed DTs. I think the "(see the damage rules below)" part was included to point out that WEs aren't outright destroyed, otherwise "War engines follow the same movement rules as any other unit" would mean they were destroyed. It definitely could have been done better,...

Spend the first two turns and the first half of the third trying to destroy the infantry formations outright, then try to break a few key monolith formations in a position to contest/control. I find that's a much more viable strategy then wasti...

Yes, but they get Holofield.

I made the decals. Found the symbol online, cleaned it up and printed it out on the laser printer at work on clear film. I made some Shining Spear symbols while I was at it as well.

We play as open, river, road and scrub as NOT blocking LoF.

Also, Air Assault through ZoC or no?

I got the decals on the Sunblitz Brotherhood this week, and finished up the pennants as well. I'm not completely happy with them but I motivation to keep working on them is gone, so they're done. I hope to get them dullcoted and tufted this weekend, then it's on to the Falcon turrets. https://res.cl...

I've never been impressed with NMM as a technique. Even the excellent stuff looks weird if you're not looking at it just right with the light.

Highlighting in the same areas with metallic paints turns out pretty good though.

Urban Mammoth was the same people that were behind AoT and it never struck me as particularly well managed. All of their stuff eventually ended up with their caster (Scotia) so it's unsurprising that their 6mm stuff now resides with them too.
