The underside and top are not 39.5/40mm because of the bevel, but id say 39.5/40mm at the widest point of the edge though. But yeah, a 40*20mm magnet base strip would still sit proud of the base because of the bevel.

It means whatever makes my customers happy. If this means .5mm extra or less here and there then so be it :).

Somehow I missed that there was a circular option. Given that GW bases aren't that expensive (170 NOK for 40 bases plus tons of extra orks to ebay) I think I'd prefer that. I like the look of circular bases, but I'm too lazy to make my own and the DRM bases are a wee bit too big.

Ok but that is not what you are finding out from this survey. As you do not know if people voting for 10*40 want 10*40, or want something identical to the GW size – which is not 10*40, but is close enough to confuse people.

(12 * 40 ± 0.5) is a bit of a mouthful, but it is pretty much what I mean by 10 x 40mm

Maybe a 6mm crate painted to look like it holds 400 Million Dollars.

Knowing WMN he will be able to get the level of detail to the nano scale.

You need a slight angle or bevel due to the rules of plastics production.

Yes, it's much cooler when your sprue doesn't get suck in the mould and ruin it the first time you try to use it. :-p

I'd love 30mm and 50mm round bases personally, number of holes = 0

I've got lipped 30mm and 40mm slotta bases... could they help? I should be able to blister up a load of them for a descently cheap price.

the 30mm ones are certainly interesting.... what does 'lipped' mean in this context?
